Before any USAF folks out there start giving me a rash of stuff about this one … yes, all branches have their rear echelon people (REMFs). Some of the best war stories told came from REMFs. There were many times when I was humping bombs in 100+ heat I would have traded jobs with a desk jockey anytime! Everybody has a job to do, some jus do it more comfortably than others … but hey, they’re in uniform and serving. That’s all that counts.
