Semantics! They get in the way of everything. You can just hear the guy saying next, “Well its off my ears, what else do you want?” When I was in, we used to really push it with the length, greasing our hair with Dippity Doo and slopping it back under our hats making sure it didn’t touch our ears … what asses we were! Like no one would know we were in the service off base, yeah right.
